For the digestive system to respond effectively to your yoga actions, empty your bowels and clear your nose before practice takes place.

Concentration is very important when doing yoga; any distractions can upset the apple cart. When in practice at home there are no set times for you to start and finish. You may find that first thing in the morning is perfect, as there usually are fewer interruptions at that time of day.

Get yourself in the mood, choose which room in the house your yoga will take place, and open a window for ventilation.

Peace and quiet are key to having a good practice.
